Road Jams: Shawn Adams of Lakeshore

0
We had the chance to speak with Shawn Adams of Lakeshore, rock band hailing from New Fairfield Connecticut, and talk to him about some of his favorite songs to listen to while on the road, and what each song means to him. Catch Lakeshore on the road on the  “A Hero With A Thousand Faces Tour” with Alesana and Eyes Set To Kill. (Dates Below)

Vault 51 “36”
We just found out about these guys and we really like their sound.  Their singer has a great voice.Starset “Satellite”
I’m always a fan of a band with a theme. Their songs just suck you in.  Plus who doesn’t like a band who dresses like astronauts??

Incubus “Talk Shows on Mute”
Incubus is one of my favorite bands.  They’re just perfect.  The lyrics in this song are, in my opinion, some of Brandon Boyd’s best.

Bon Jovi “Wanted Dead or Alive”
If you’ve never seen the video of them playing this song live, do yourself a favor and watch one of the best moments in rock n roll history.

Circa Waves “Fire That Burns”
I can’t stop listening to this entire album. These guys are incredible. Everything they put out is infectious.

Paramore “Careful”
I think this is one of Paramore’s best songs. It gets me going every time. Plus, Hayley Williams. What more can be said?

Linkin Park “In the End”
Linkin Park shaped me as a musician. This song has now found a deeper meaning after Chester’s death.  It’s hard to top emotion like that.

The Eagles “Hotel California”
The Eagles are one of the best bands of all time. Hardly anything comes close to the composition and musicianship of every single member.  The Eagles are a band favorite in the Lakeshore van.

Versus Me “High Roads and Stepping Stones”
This is Patrick Thompson from Alesana’s other band, and we literally listened to it on repeat for 9 hours.  It’s phenomenal.  Do yourself a favor and check it out.

Death Cab for Cutie “Transatlanticism”
I have always said that there is no better driving music than Death Cab.  Every song is perfection.  Especially Transatlanticism.
